Yes, that's correct. "Her" team will run a single Ferrari 458 GT3 driven by ex-F1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi & and Mathias Lauda. The son of the legendary World Champion Niki Lauda portrayed in Ron L. Howard's upcoming movie Rush.
The team will be known as Race Alliance by Pamela Anderson. Race Alliance isn't a new team, they've run Aston Martin's in sportscar racing before. New of this year, they've moved from Austria to Germany and switched from English to to Italian machinery.
The first race for the new outfit co-owned by Pamela and a man named Markus Fux, will be the FIA GT round in Slovakia. Although this isn't Pamela's first venture into motorsports, it's certainly the first association with what I would refer to as a "proper team". In other words, with the driver roster they currently have, laptimes shouldn't be an issue.
Word on the street is, the team's business plan is to run a full season in the FIA GT series and attend the infamous Nürburgring N24 with their single car outfit, before eventually switching over to NASCAR in a few years time. Don't look to much into that last goal, one thing is rebranding a European sportscar team. Kicking off a new fully fledged NASCAR outfit on a different continent is something else.
